How it started
Aura Tavira began as an online shop, born from a passion for sharing the incredible diversity of Portuguese wine.
From a small desk surrounded by traditional blue and white tiles, we spent our days sourcing bottles from small producers, photographing each one, and shipping hand-picked selections to wine lovers near and far.
Building connections
Alongside the online shop, we hosted wine tastings and catered events, bringing the stories of Portuguese terroir directly to people.
These experiences deepened our connection with our customers and fuelled our dream of creating a dedicated space for discovery.
March 2025
At the beginning of this year, we decided it was time to take the next step.
Today, our collection has grown to over four hundred carefully selected bottles, and our doors are open for anyone who wants to explore, taste, and fall in love with Portuguese wine. A heartfelt thank you to all the helpers who made this dream a reality.
